“May the Lord answer you on a day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill your whole plan! Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some praise their chariots and some their horses, but we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.” Psalms 20:1, 4, 6-7 NASB
Father, I praise You for being the God we can trust in. You have mercifully provided for us during this horrible season of cancer. Through Your grace we have received many answers to prayer that we have sought after. We have been so very grateful that the answers have been in our favor and that You have sustained us through each period of waiting for results. The last word we received is that I am cancer-free. I am still wrapping my mind around this and trying to believe the words we have received. After dealing with a cancer diagnosis and active cancer cells in my body for 8 months, it is so very hard to switch gears and rejoice in the best news. But I will trust in You and in what the doctors are telling me. I know that i still have a ways to go to complete this journey. But I am trusting in You to guide me through every step and to bring me to the other side, renewed in my body and spirit. I am trusting You for a complete transformation of my emotions and devotion to You. My life should not go back to the way I was before. I surrender my sinful nature to You and rely upon Your Spirit to work in me to make me more like Christ.
