Living for God

Romans 14:12-13, 19 “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”

2 Corinthians 5:15, 17, 20-21 “And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”

1 Peter 3:10-12 “For, ‘Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.’”

Psalm 37:10-11 “A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.”

2 Timothy 2:22-26 “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

Psalm 19:13 “Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.”

Psalm 119:133 “Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.”

Proverbs 11:20 “The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but He delights in those whose ways are blameless.”

Proverbs 11:30 “What good people produce is like a life-giving tree. Those who are wise give new life to others.”

Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the uncompromisingly righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures human lives for God, as a fisher of men–he gathers and receives them for eternity.”

Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”

Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.”
